Crawfish Aquatics has been a true gift to our daughter and our family. The coaching staff is amazing. Not only are they the best at their jobs but they truly care about their swimmers. It makes such a difference to have a coach that will “high-five” your child during practice, give hugs after a hard work-out and say “great job” after a race. As a high-school All-American and former Division I collegiate swimmer, I was looking for a swim team that could help my children develop a love for swimming like I did. I wanted a team that would work with kids of all levels, and a team that focused on technique and proficiency first, speed later. I am so glad we found Crawfish Aquatics.
Crawfish Aquatics is a kid-friendly, family-oriented team. Parents support every swimmer, cheering and getting excited when anyone does well. Crawfish coaches do a great job of managing a healthy balance between swimming and real life. They encourage participation in other sports, and the team has monitored Think Tank rooms where the kids can do homework before or after practice. The coaches know that even the most passionate, dedicated swimmers can burn out if they are pushed too hard, too soon. The Ripples and the coaches are dedicated to helping each swimmer develop to his or her best ability, regardless of whether that ability is a state qualifier or an Olympian.
Our kids are learning life lessons that they’ll use long after they leave Crawfish: setting and achieving goals, dealing with disappointments and setbacks, time-management skills, focus, and the understanding that hard work and dedication can lead to true accomplishments and confidence. And they do this while learning to love a sport they can participate in for the rest of their lives. Chris Frederic
Our daughter has always loved to swim and began swimming with Crawfish Aquatics in 2008. In these two years she has accomplished far more than we ever thought possible. Crawfish has helped her turn her love for swimming and dreams of success into reality. Working with this team has shown her that through hard work, commitment, discipline, and a belief in herself, she can achieve her goals. Our daughters have swum at Crawfish Aquatics in the swim school, middle school and year round programs. Each program is unique in its approach, focusing on the needs of that particular group, but all equally impressive. While swimming at Crawfish, my girls have significantly improved their swimming skills, but more importantly, gained confidence and the drive and determination to reach goals. My entire family swims at Crawfish and has for 9 years. It started innocently with swim lessons for one very young child and quickly turned into year around swimming for both kids and (yikes!) beginners Masters for myself and my husband. The coaches and team are so positive in their approach to youth sports (and the Masters program); encouraging, inclusive, loving, while setting high standards in team behavior, sportsmanship and competition. Hi Everyone,
First, we want to thank you for a wonderful day on Saturday. The Intrasquad meet offered a wonderful opportunity to make mistakes and learn; the lunch and the inflatables provided wonderful fun for the kids. As always, you gave them a wonderful mix of swimming and fun.
And we also want to congratulate you on the new Think Tank. The kids all love it! And the parents are thrilled, because this gives us tremendous flexibility and reinforces for the kids the importance of academics. Doing it was smart and doing it well was truly Crawfish.
Thanks so much for providing a wonderful environment and experience for our kids.
