CA Next Gen Meet (Lafayette, July)

Schedule:
Gates Open: 4:30 PM
Warm Up: 4:45-5:05 PM
Meet Starts: 5:15 PM
Deadline to sign up: 9 PM Wednesday, July 22nd.
Meet Detail & Flow
Events: Coaches will pick swimmers' events.
Entries: Swimmers shall be permitted to swim a maximum of 3 events.
Entry Fee: There is a $10 entry fee per swimmer (this includes the swimmers pizza expense). There will be a party after the swim meet. If any sibling or parent would like to eat pizza, there will be an additional $5 fee per person for pizza. Siblings not on the swim team MUST be accompanied by adults. The pizza will last until 7:15PM. Meet fees including additional sibling or parent pizza fees will be charged to your account the Wednesday before the meet.
Warm-up & Procedures: Swimmers will gather behind the starting blocks at 4:40PM with their Coach to prepare for warm-ups. All swimmers will enter the pool feet first for warm-ups.
Races: All races that are 50s will start from the deep end of the pool. All 25s will start from the shallow end of the pool.
Heat Sheets: Will be posted on the Meet Mobile app the day of the meet. We will also have heat sheets posted around the facility for viewing.
Locker Rooms: Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, restrooms, locker rooms, or behind the starting ends of the pool.
Parking: All parking will be in the Crawfish Aquatics lot and down Susan Street in the LHS parking lot.
Seating: Seating is limited so bring folding chairs. There is not much shade on the pool deck. Pop up tents are allowed but must be taken down and away after the event has ended.
Results: Results will be emailed out and also posted to Meet Mobile after the conclusion of the meet.
Post-Meet Pizza Party!
Join us after the swim meet for pizza! To ensure we order enough food for everyone, please sign up by July 22nd.
Cost:
- $10 per swimmer (includes meet fee and pizza)
- $5 per non-swimmer (parents, siblings, and other family members)
Swimmers: Please sign up for the meet through Team Unify or Jackrabbit as usual. Swimmers do NOT need to complete the sign up form below.
Parents and Siblings: Any parent or sibling who would like to attend the pizza party must sign up using the form here: Pizza Sign Up Link
Important: A separate submission is required for each non-swimmer wanting to enjoy pizza with us.
Examples:
- 1 parent eating = 1 form
- 2 siblings eating = 2 separate forms
- 2 parents and 2 siblings eating = 4 separate forms
