Jayme Cramer, COO, CFO

Jayme began working officially at Crawfish Aquatics in the summer of 2012  after spending over three years at Traina & Associates. He is responsible for the Elite Athlete Development (Team One) and  day-to-day operations and financial management of Crawfish Aquatics and the two Crawfish Swim School locations. In his tenure at Crawfish Aquatics his athletes have competed at Junior Nationals, Nationals and the Olympic Trials.   He was named to be a USA Swimming National Junior Team coach for 2016-2017.  He has helped guide athletes to set over 50 state records and has had over 30 athletes go on to swim collegiately.

Jayme grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where his love for swimming was born and his passion blossomed as a team member for the ME Lyons YMCA and the famous St. Xavier High School. He attended Stanford University and in 2005 continued his swimming career as a professional athlete where he also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Stanford University Men’s Swim Team. After swimming at Stanford and finishing his degree, a BA in Economics, he moved to Baton Rouge and represented Crawfish Aquatics while training for the 2008 US Olympic Trials. While Jayme never ultimately made the Olympics in three attempts, his journey as an amateur and professional helped to equip him with knowledge and connections that benefit the entire organization.  CA World Clinic. 

Jayme married Kate Ripple in 2006 and they have lived in Baton Rouge ever since. Kate is a former professional athlete competing in both triathlons representing the USA National Team at the 2007 World University Games and in Obstacle Course Racing competing for the Spartan Pro Team through 2016. They have four children, Lucy Grace, Molly, Leland and MaryNoelle.
