Important Notes: Swimmers must be "circled in" each day by 7:30am on Sat/Sun and 4:15pm on Friday. The coaches will circle in the athletes but parents should check this also (tables in the downstairs lobby) as a second set of eyes. Sunday finals- if your athlete qualifies for Finals on Sunday and you are planning to leave after prelims, the athlete must scratch from the event within 30 minutes of the event during prelims. Once they announce the prelim results, if they do not receive a scratch from those swimmers qualified for the final then they will be placed on the Finals heat sheet (taking up a spot that another athlete could fill if not planning to return). All swimmers qualifying for Saturday finals are expected to participate. The option to scratch finals is ONLY for Sunday to allow earlier return travel.
Meet Schedule
*Coaches will discuss warm up time & athlete arrival times with the swimmers daily at the meet based on individual events for the day, session timelines, etc. When in doubt, have the athlete check with the coach prior to leaving each session.
Friday- 4:00pm warm up; Meet begins at 5:00pm
Saturday- 7:50-8:15am; Meet Begins 8:30am

Qualifying Times for Meet:

One-up/one-down rule: swimmers may enter events in which they do not have an “BB” time if the swimmer has achieved an “BB” time in the same stroke at the next longer or next shorter distance. (ie, if a swimmer has an “BB” time in the 100 backstroke they can also enter the 50 and 200 yard backstroke). NT’s are allowed as long as the swimmer meets the one-up/one-down rule or the 3-event rule.
